Barbershop Talk with the Brothers

The Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health’s barbershop program
was initiated in 1997 within 10 barbershops in Brooklyn. The
progress has grown to over 100 barbershops and uses innovative grassroots strategies to engage men’s interest and encourage them to seek health screening and advocate for healthier communities.

BTWB is the Institute’s community-based initiative to address health promotion in men, utilizing barbershops as the venue.
